Description: Biagioli Modesto Cashmere100 is a premium cone-spun, carded cashmere for pieces you’ll want to wear every day. The yarn is soft, springy, and warm with minimal weight; after wet blocking it blooms beautifully, yielding an even fabric with a refined matte sheen and that signature noble cashmere halo that gives garments depth and elegance. With 1,400 m per 100 g (2/28), it’s highly versatile: in 1 strand it makes airy tops, shawls, lace, and a light under-jacket layer; in 2 strands — everyday sweaters and cardigans; in 3 strands — denser pullovers, dresses, cowls, and hats for cooler weather. Recommended needles: 1 strand — 2.0–2.5 mm for lace; 2 strands — 2.75–3.25 mm; 3 strands — 3.5–4.0 mm (adjust to your desired gauge and fit). Suitable for 5-gauge knitting machines. The yarn holds ribbing, stockinette, seed stitch, and clean aran lines without overloading the fabric. After the first gentle wash, stitches even out, the halo becomes more uniform, and the garment gains shape stability while feeling wonderfully soft against the skin.
