Description: Biagioli Modesto Upsala 50S is a blend of luxury and practicality: 50% cashmere and 50% fine merino wool. The yarn is very soft, flexible, and comfortable directly on the skin, even without lining. Yardage is 1400 m / 100 g (2/28), so you can knit it in a single strand for light base layers, or hold 2–3 strands together for denser sweaters and cardigans. After washing, the yarn blooms, becomes even softer, and develops a gentle cashmere halo typical of premium Italian spinners. Perfect for sweaters, lightweight long-sleeves, scarves, hats, children’s garments, and any next-to-skin pieces. Merino adds elasticity and stability to the fabric, while cashmere gives warmth and an elegant, refined look.
